Come enjoy some rock climbing. Open to anyone interested in climbing. Experience not necessary. Equipment is a plus but not necessary – someone generally has an extra harness, belay device, chalk bag etc.  If you are coming to a meetup and would like to borrow gear, just let us know in advance. This group is primarily for people to partner with others at local climbing gyms. We'll aim to meet regularly at Vertical World and Stone Garden. Members can team up to climb outside depending on their skills and comfort level.

Our group purpose is to help people develop basic mountaineering skills, which will involve class time and field trips. The idea is to build outdoor skills so people become more comfortable on mountaineering trips that require an ice ax, rope, and snow camping.
